To understand my story, I woul have to give a background of where it all started. Prior to my twenties, the only experience I ever had was woth Red Cross Society of Kenya and that is where I met one od the key figures in my life, who doubled down as my supervisor as I was a volunteer. She introduced me to conservancy and at that time, water conservation. In a span of one year, we toured half of Nairobi and surrounding city slums with one goal in mind. Being priviledged to have access to water easily dawned on me after these experiences and that is what drove me during the expeditions such as in Mukuru kwa njenga and in Mathare. Two years later, I stumbled upon the Millenial Environmentalists and the result was Kerarapon and Nairobi National Park tree planting events which saw us plant numerous trees and ensure they are taken care of even after we left and the spread of close to a hundred seedballs provided during such events has also been key in my story as some of the trees i planted randomly have reached reasonable heights and I believe the future is safe in their hands. Meeting TME meant that i found ways to navigate water conservancy while also creating mitigation measures for climate change. The journey still continues until we move the green forest cover in Kenya by a considerable number to reflect on the international measures.
