My name is Dibblex Lesalon and I’m the founder and host boots on the ground podcast, an interview style podcast that focuses on three thematic issues but not limited to Wildlife conservation, biodiversity preservation and climate change. I launched this podcast back in October 2020 and back then, my aim was to encourage local tourists to travel around the country as borders were shut and there was zero inbound tourism taking place. But as I continued, I noticed that all the people I brought in to the show did more than just travel for fun, and as someone who is passionate about conservation, I decided to give it a go and rebrand the podcast to ‘boots on the ground’ and shed more light on brilliant conservation stories across Africa.
