I come from Sudan. The country's temperatures are very high at most times of the year and have a very limited amount of rainfall. The region I am personally from is rural, where the only source of fuel is firewood and charcoal. The construction materials for roofing are constructed using timbers from trees around. There has been a high level of deforestation for the mentioned reasons. The people because of illiteracy don't know they can do anything to restore trees in their communities. I want to start a tree-planting project in Sudan and specifically in my region of South Kordofan. I want to start nursery. I will personally plant trees in the community.
