My name is Teresia Muragwa,a 26year Old who is passionate about the environment and the issues concerning it's conservation and creating awareness.

I am a member of The Millenia Environmentalist for at least 2 years now . I have taken part in some of the major tree planting activities,the best one being in Nairobi National Park where a team of us planted over One Thousands trees along the Cheeters Gate. The activity was aimed at rehabilitating that part of Nairob National Park that had been interfered with after the construction of the Nairobi-Mombasa SGR train.

The second activity that I take pride in was the partnership with Amboswli National Park and The Millenial Environmentalists whereby,we started a small tree nursery in the park that was aimed at rehabilitating some parts of the park that need more tree coverage.

We also managed to start a few more nurseries in Kimana with partnership with some of the local residents . This activity was in April 2020.

The latest tree planting activity I took part in was on 23rd October 2021 ,in Mt. Kenya where we planted indigenous trees with partnership with Kenya Forestry and Miti Alliance .

 At the moment I am working on how to educate the young children we interact with as TME on what Carbon Footprint is and how we lower our carbon footprint as well as plant and nature the trees around us .This is mostly achieves through training students how to recycle food waste materials like orange seeds to full grown trees that produce more fruits.

 The aim is to eradicate poverty through proper sustainable use of our environment
