My name is Timothy Muli. I'm a member of the Mazingira Youth Empowerment Program that is located in Ruai, Corner C area. The group has about 18 youths who are dedicated to changing the place and its surroundings through planting trees and cleaning the estates. We started the group during the pandemic period with a nursery and seedlings(pine, meru oak, oranges, avocados) which were all intended to be planted around Mazingira area. However, our great challenge has been lack of seedlings, planting bags, garbage bags, protective gear and equipments such as jembes, shovels etc. Currently we have been using tools that we borrow from our homes. We believe that by your support, we will do a lot of empowerment to the youths and the community at large through environment conservation.
