My name is Sumaiya Harunany a climate activist from Kenya and the founder of Blue Earth Organization whose main aim is to regenerate areas that have been affected by pollution, infrastructure development and climate change as well as Combating the climate crisis through Nature Based Solutions. Our flagship project focuses on the restoration of mangroves in an area that is prone to flooding and the mangroves were destroyed to pave way for infrastructure development. Our seedlings are sourced from the nearby communities whose jobs were hit by covid, so this helps them financially and all in all tackling SDG’s 1,2,13,14 and 15. https://www.blueearthorganization.org/
