Neyshae isn't your typical 10 year old. My passion to conserve and keep my environment safe and habitable, leads me to every month, together with a few friendsand family, to do a monthly voluntary clean up of our neighborhood. An initiative started by The Malindi Green and Blue. Armed with trash bags,gloves,well protective gear, we set out to take part in Malindi town clean up. In line with the same, together with Malindi Green & Blue club, we are running a campaign  called "PICK UP YOUR TRASH' to sensitize people on proper disposal of trash and also keeping the environment clean. The launch was in April 2022, where over 50 children,family and friends came together. This also saw me participate in clean up in Shauri Moyo,Nairobi with a group called King Off The Street and with Project 150 in Free Area Nakuru and over 80kg of trash was collected. Through my instagram account @tucci_art9 i am inviting people to join in the campaign. Being young and with a passion for the environment,  I have sure learnt a lot on the three R's(Reduce,Reuse, Recycle). And inline with the same, I have put up a compost manure project  using dried leaves and grass at home.  I have also taught some children in an orphanage,how to make the same.The compost manure project has come in handy in my seedling project. I currently  have a started a Cape gooseberry nursery;planting the seeds in recycled juice boxes. I plan to  distribute the seedlings to the children  in orphanages and primary schools.  Gooseberry is fruit/berry and is  rich in vitamins C, B5 and B6, dietary fibres, copper,manganese, potassium which are all essential  for children while growing up. Tropical Heat,has proven that age doesn't matter for one to be an inspiration or a great environmentalist at that. They named me as a Hero for my great acts of service to the environment in august 2021. Progress Welfare Association of Malindi(PWAM) as well awarded me a certificate for participating  in  the International  Coastal Clean Up Day in October 2021. Together with my Pappà we are making house toys from cereal boxes as gifts to children who can't  afford toys. My journey for conserving and educating the people on taking care of the environment has just begun. I am a Champion of the Earth.
