My conservation journey started when I was 6 years old where I could plant ,flowers and trees 

 at my grand father farm later after joining primary school i  started buying trees and planting them at my primary school Nyondia primary .

Kim Mary is a birder and also a conservationist .am a member of a humanitarian group that plants trees and kitchen garden at children's home ,home for the aged and other places .I conserve trees since it's home to birds and birds are environmental indicators .

Teaching primary school pupils the importance of conservation and having a greener national is my priority as they are future environment champions .

Am also the chairperson of lake Naivasha biodiversity youth group that its aim is to monitor birds and their breeding areas within lake Naivasha as it's a ramsar site and also an important bird area.we also do habitat restoration where we try and rehabilitate riparian land around the shores of lake Naivasha with the help of Nature Kenya .

I firmly advocate for the conservation of ideginous trees and planting of more ideginous trees .

Being a humanitarian at Destiny equipping child association has helped me alot since am able to interact with the less privileged in the society and also teach them the value of conservation and also the importance of having kitchen garden .

Am naturing young kids who are passionate about birds and also wildlife the importance of birds and wild animals at large their important since we have to live  in harmony with them .

man cannot live without animals but animals can live without man and also nature can thrive without man but man cannot thrive without nature .

Due to increased water levels in lake Naivasha people and animals have been displaced from their natural habitats which has times lead to human wildlife conflict and also competition of natural resources like food and  habitat .

Climate change is the greatest problem facing the global at large and to curb it we have to be environmental conscious by doing clean ups , planting more trees to have a greener plane
